Six years ago, Kneads & Wants opened its doors with the simple promise of bringing fresh, artisanal baked goods to Downtown Skokie. Just months later, the pandemic hit, and our young bakery faced challenges we never could have imagined. What carried us through was you—our community. Your support, encouragement, and loyalty turned a moment of uncertainty into a story of resilience.
As we celebrate six years, we are filled with gratitude. Thank you for helping us grow from those fragile early days into the vibrant bakery and café we are today. Here’s to many more years of baking, sharing, and celebrating together
$6 Mystery Box – All Month Long!
Celebrate our 6th anniversary with a little mystery and a lot of fun! All September long, you can pick up a $6 Mystery Box—each one sealed with a surprise card inside. Everyone wins, and about 1 in 4 boxes includes a deluxe reward.
Prizes range from coffee, cookies, and cake truffles to gift cards, whole quiches, and even a Grand Bites Sweet Platter with over 100 treats. You can open your box right away, save it for later, or give it as a gift—the fun is in the surprise, and every box is a way to celebrate with us.
